Job Summary

Teach courses in the biological sciences in keeping with the candidate's specialization and departmental need. We commonly have openings to teach introductory biology, environmental science, human anatomy, human physiology, and microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare syllabi, deliver lectures, grade assignments, and provide assistance to students as necessary
• Demonstrate commitment to the liberal arts educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University
• Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline

Experience

Record of successful college teaching preferred

Education

Master's degree in Biology or related field required; PhD preferred

Additional Information

Compensation :

At Bethel, we offer classes that are 1, 2 or 4 credits. Adjunct load will vary based on capabilities of the Adjunct Professor and needs of the department. We pay $1,000 per credit hour for online courses and $1,250 per credit hour for in person or hybrid courses.
