Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804 Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Telemetry Unit (24 beds) Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date : December 1, 2025 Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM), every other weekend rotation, block scheduling available Hours per Week : 36 or 48 (based on preference) Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 or 1 : 6 EMR System : Cerner Scrub Color : Navy Blue Floating : Required to other hospital units as needed Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1800 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must be submitted with application) Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry or cardiac step-down nursing Proficient in cardiac monitoring and telemetry strip interpretation Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (no local candidates) Strong assessment, medication administration, and electronic charting skills Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Telemetry RN Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips for assigned patients Administer medications and conduct bedside shift reports Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care Float to other hospital units as required Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Fort Wayne, Indiana!
