Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Facility in Wellsboro, PA seeking Peds Hospitalist locums coverage Rate : $2500-3000 / 24 hour shift (all inclusive) depending on the experience and availability. Travel / Lodging will be covered separately. Opportunity Highlights

• Consistent Schedule : We are looking for a provider to cover 1-2 weeks per month, with a focus on 24-hour pediatric call shifts (7 AM - 7 AM).
• Urgent Need : There is an immediate need for coverage from September 17th to September 21st (ending on the morning of September 22nd).
• Specialized Role : The call is limited to the healthy newborn nursery only. The hospital is licensed for 5 inpatient couplet-care rooms. Pediatricians attend C-sections, but OBs perform circumcisions.
• Low Volume : The facility has approximately 30 deliveries per month. You can expect an average of 2 newborn admissions while on call, with a range of 0-3.
• EMR System : The facility uses Cerner for all charting.
• Quick Privileging : The estimated time to secure full or temporary privileges is 30 days.
