As a Principal Account Executive you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of globally recognizable brands. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects.

You will be the leader of a cross functional team, shaping the strategy for partners, professional services, and training / certification. You will develop and execute against a territory strategy and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaming with all aspects of the customer’s organization, including C-level executives, engineering, IT / operations, partner org, and sales.
  • Building relationships across an account, using creative systems thinking, visioning, and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address all Financial Services customer's needs.
  • Selling at the most strategic (C-level) within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
  • Collaborating with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role or equivalent experience
  • Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
  • 10+ years of quota-carrying technology field sales or business development experience
