Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Manager to join our team. As a leader in the construction industry, you will oversee and ensure the successful completion of various construction projects while delivering high-quality results and exceptional client service. This role is ideal for an individual with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities :

• Provide on-site day-to-day construction administration.
• Manage and coordinate Project Engineers, inspectors, and interns.
• Facilitate coordination and communication between the construction administrator, contractor, campus, inspectors, and design professional.
• Review all contract documents and ensure adherence to procedures; recommend revisions or new procedures as necessary.
• Monitor the overall budget and schedule, advising on trends affecting timely procedures and cost-effective project completion.
• Attend weekly and special construction meetings to evaluate and control progress, quality, budget, and other actionable items.
• Review vendor services for compliance with agreements, approve invoices, and submit recommendations for final approval.
• Evaluate and recommend resolutions for proposed contract changes and claims.
• Participate in or conduct negotiations to resolve claims or disputes as directed.
• Maintain a change order log and reconcile costs with contractor payment requests.
• Monitor potential change orders and track project contingency.
• Manage and report on the overall project budget health.
• Coordinate inspection, final acceptance, and scheduling of occupancy.
• Administer project closeout.

Job Type & Location :

This is a permanent position based out of Eureka, CA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 / yr.
