Machine Operator - 2nd shift position that trains on 1st shift for 6 weeks.
Shifts :
1st shift training is M-F 8am-4pm
2nd shift after training is 4pm-12am
Pay : $17 during training and increases to $18.75 after training and moving to 2nd shift.

We are looking for a consistent work history with experience operating production machinery.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION :
Performs functions to operate the bunchers to twist various gauge size reels of wire into flexible electrical conductor as required to meet production schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for properly setting up and stringing up the bunchers.
- Responsible for operating the bunchers to twist copper wire to the required dimensions at the proper machine speed to produce reels of flexible electrical conductor in various gauge sizes.
- Responsible for staging reels of wire, placing them in the pay off and pressure welding the wires together to setup the machines and maintain continuous production operation.
- Responsible for proper machinery setup, staging and placement of empty reels.
- Responsible for removing completed reels from the bunchers and preparing them for the next process.
- Responsible for quality of wire produced at the bunchers.
- Responsible for periodic checks to maintain the quality of the wire.
- Responsible for bunching dies necessary to run production.
- Responsible for completing scheduled production and logging downtime in the OHM system.
- Responsible for housekeeping in assigned work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
Ability to work assigned shift and overtime.Ability to lift 50 lbs. and pull wire with 50 lbs. of force.Ability to pull, bend, stoop, stretch and reach as necessary to string up the multi-buncher.Ability to operate various powered industrial material handling equipment.Apply Today!
