ABOUT OUR AGENCY :

I opened my agency in 1978 and currently have a team of five full-time and three part-time team members. I started my career as a commercial lines agent right out of college, which laid the foundation for my long tenure in the insurance industry.

Im a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida. My wife and I have been married for 51 years, and we have three children and eight grandchildren. Community involvement has always been important to me Ive been an active member of my church for 40 years and the Rotary Club for 35 years, and I co-host monthly Cars & Coffee events.

Our agency embraces a traditional, old school State Farm approach, prioritizing high customer service and quality standards. Many of our team members have been with us for over 20 years, which speaks to the strong culture and family-friendly environment weve built.

ROLE DESCRIPTION :

Gary Merideth - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
