Training Specialist

As the Training Specialist for Mosaic's Carlsbad location, you'll have ownership of the site -wide training efforts and programs.

In the first 30 days :

You'll get oriented to Mosaic and learn the ins and outs of our business, specifically the day-to-day operations at our Carlsbad site. You also venture into Mosaic's learning systems and facilitate some training sessions once comfortable.

In the first 60- 90 days :

You'll start carving out a regular schedule, facilitating regular trainings , building and developing training content, and take ownership of site-wide training at our Carlsbad location.

After 90 days :

You'll begin truly shaping and influencing our Carlsbad training programs. Eventually, you'll also take on various projects aimed at optimizing our global training programs.

If you're a n experienced training professional with an active MSHA Instructor certification, we want to hear from you! Come join us as we pave the way in sustainable food production.

Where You ' ll Work

In this role, you'll work onsite at our Carlsbad, NM site ( Located at 1361 Potash Mines Dr, Carlsbad, NM 82220) . Th is role doesn't require travel, but you'll have the chance to occasionally visit our HQ if you choose !

What You ' ll Do :

Work with key stakeholders at the Carlsbad site and the broader business to create and deliver meaningful learning experiences to Mosaic employees

Collaborate with peers to ensure overall prioritization of training resources is effectively managed to deliver on training priorities and produce high impact outcomes

Build an understanding of adult learning best practice and research technology that enables work and learning and delivers effective and improved training outcomes

Seek out opportunities to pilot learning t e chnologies

Implements programs in areas of focus and insures alignment of learning strategies and practices with the learning governance model

Assess the training deliverables and processes against the Mosaic Management System (MMS) and adjust the deliverables to meet or exceed the requirements of the MMS

Performs evaluations to ensure training programs are effective

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have :

Experience in training facilitation and content creation in mining or a related field (Ideally 5+ years)

MSHA Instructor Surface and / or Instructor Underground Certification (Blue Card)

Experience in Enviornmental Health and Safety (EHS)

Experience in change management and industrial manufacturing, agriculture, and / or mining
