Goranson Bain Ausley is seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join our Dallas office!

The Paralegal will work closely with a Dallas Associate Attorney to support the firm's clients in a manner that is consistent with our core values and vision. The right candidate must have 5+ years of Texas Family Law experience along with attention to detail, strong organizational and drafting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and court orders for review, approval, and use by attorney.
• Correspond with clients and prepare spreadsheets and documents for the Inventory and Appraisement and Proposed Support Decision.
• File pleadings with court clerks.
• Coordinate delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties to action.
• Conduct intake calls with potential new clients and prepare attorneys for initial consultation.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for mediations, depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Assist attorneys in analyzing and resolving recurring problems that arise in family law cases.
• Draft discovery requests, calendar relevant due dates, and prepare correspondence to opposing counsels and / or opposing parties.
• Assist clients to comply with discovery requests and compile requested documents.

GBA offers a competitive compensation package including a market-competitive base salary commensurate with experience, medical, dental, vision, 401k contributions, holidays including a full week between December 25th through January 1st, PTO, annual bonuses, and more.
