We are seeking a seasoned, high-performing Cruise Operations Account Manager to join our team in Medley, Flordia. This is a highly specialized role requiring a minimum of 4+ years of logistics experience with proven expertise in complex ocean freight export operations , particularly involving the unique demands of Freight Forwarding and perishable shipments.
The successful candidate will own the entire freight lifecycle, manage critical vendor and client relationships, and make daily executive operational decisions that drive client satisfaction and ensure the timely delivery of goods worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Shipment Coordination : Coordinate and facilitate all ocean freight export processes, including carrier freight / drayage bookings, accurate documentation, AES filings, and global shipment tracking.
Strategic Problem Resolution : Take initiative to strategically address and resolve all critical issues, including carrier delays, customs holds, documentation errors, and revisions to ETD / ETA schedules, often during non-office hours.
Executive Decision Making : Demonstrate the ability to make timely, high-level operational decisions on a day-to-day basis to minimize client disruption and avoid penalties.
Client & Vendor Management : Consult directly with clients, providing exceptional customer service and logistics advice. Establish and maintain strong relationships with domestic carriers, vendors, and foreign agents.
Internal Coordination : Coordinate complex freight movements between clients, internal departments, and overseas agents to ensure issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Financial Accuracy : Manage vendor invoice review, auditing, and billing reconciliation for owned accounts.
Process Improvement : Diligently adhere to all internal operational procedures while proactively presenting and implementing process improvement initiatives for existing workflows.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications
The ideal candidate is highly resilient, detail-oriented, and has the following core qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
Industry Expertise : Must possess in-depth knowledge of ocean export / import procedures, documentation, and regulations , with specific experience in cruise logistics and handling perishable shipments .
Communication : Demonstrates the ability to clearly articulate complex information via both email and phone to multiple stakeholders (internal teams, clients, carriers).
Adaptability & Resiliency : Proven ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, effectively manage time, pivot quickly when circumstances change, and recover from setbacks.
Technical Skills : Computer literate with working experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education : High School Graduate required; college degree and / or industry certifications (e.g., Hazmat certified ) are a significant plus.
