About The Position

The Paramedic is responsible for providing high-quality basic and advanced life support care to patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. This role includes assessing patient conditions, initiating treatment protocols, performing interventions, and safely transporting patients. Paramedics collaborate closely with physicians, registered nurses, EMTs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of effective and compassionate care. The position requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to work under pressure, and adherence to established medical protocols and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

Certifications & Licensure (Required)

Wisconsin EMT Paramedic Certification or NREMT

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)

AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Active Wisconsin Driver’s License in good standing

Preferred : Wisconsin Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) Endorsement

Optional : Michigan Paramedic License (Eligibility via reciprocity if previously NREMT-P certified)

Experience & Education

Minimum : 1 year of Paramedic experience required

Preferred : 3+ years of experience

Education : High school diploma + graduation from an accredited EMS Paramedic program
