About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean for its School of Physical Therapy. The successful candidate will be the lead academic, administrative, and fiscal officer, providing executive leadership and guiding the faculty to ensure the graduation of future physical therapists who are dedicated to improving healthcare in rural and medically underserved communities. This full-time position is pivotal in maintaining the school's mission and accreditation standards. The Dean will be responsible for program planning and assessment, leading administrative functions, and will be expected to engage in teaching, scholarship, and service as a core faculty member.
Ideal candidates for the Dean position should be experienced leaders and passionate educators, particularly those with a commitment to serving in rural and underserved medical areas. The role requires an inspiring leader who can thrive in an innovative and collaborative environment, and who is eager to shape the future of physical therapy education. While the Dean's role is primarily administrative, a reduced percentage of time will be dedicated to teaching, maintaining a productive research program, and demonstrating leadership in service. The Dean will also be responsible for the school's program planning and assessment, and must be confident in a highly interactive residential learning environment.
