Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Additional Details :

Scheduling : Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Types of patients : All Neuroscience. Neck and back spinal surgery, stroke, brain tumor, seizure, head injury, MS, Myasthenia Gravis, Peripheral neuropathy, encephalopathy, Spinal fractures, etc

Required skills and minimum years of experience : Minimum required to travel

Shift or schedule requirements : Every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday on Day Shift and either Friday / Saturday or Saturday / Sunday on night shift to follow unit patterns)

Every other Holiday (Days holidays are : Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Nights holidays are : Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day Eve, the 3rd of July Nights, and Labor day Eve)

Floating to other units / departments : Could float to another gen / med unit (Nephrology, Oncology, Ortho, Adult medical Surgical, Surgical, Rehab, Cardiac 5 G) These are all general medical units that any of our staff could float to.

Dress Code : Scrubs- no certain colors, just matching and professional, tattoos and nose rings covered while on duty
