Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to oversee and manage our tax compliance and planning activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling high net worth individuals and trust estate taxes, ensuring accurate tax returns and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review tax returns for high net worth individuals and trusts (Form 1040 and 1041)
• Provide tax planning and research to optimize tax strategies for clients
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Oversee the preparation of tax filings and documentation for various entities including REITs
• Collaborate with the wealth management team to align tax strategies with client goals
• Conduct tax reviews and provide recommendations for improvements in tax processes
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting clients
• Supervise and mentor junior staff in tax accounting and compliance practices.
