Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.\nThis is an 34 bed adult surgical\nGeneral Job duties. Types of procedures required.\nStandard RPN III duties / skills. Knowledgeable in surgical pre / postoperative care\nEquipment utilized in the unit / dept.\nVital signs machines; IV & PCA pumps; WOWS / EMR charting; Pyxis.\nRequired skills and minimum years of experience.\nStandard RPN III skills (at least 2 yrs. experience) in order to be proficient in duties and role as a registered nurse; strong work experience in pre / postoperative nursing (i.e. abdominal surgeries, like lap chole / appy, mastectomies, thyroidectomies, chest tubes, drains\nSpecific licensures and certifications / registrations required.\nREQUIRED : BLS. ACLS.\nShift or schedule requirements.\nTravelers will be assigned three 12 hour shifts per week.\nFloating to other units / departments.\nTravelers may be assigned to float to other units.\nNurse to patient ratio of this unit.\n1 RN to 5-6 patients.\nDress Code : \nRegular nursing uniforms.\n
