Description :

Contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry.

Position involves providing modified total patient care to general medical and surgical patients.

Experience with surgical oncology is required.

Candidates must be chemotherapy certified to perform related procedures.

The unit has a capacity of 34 beds and the staff includes Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Patient Care Technicians.

Patient ratios are typically 1 nurse to 6 patients.

Telemetry monitoring is available 24 hours a day.

The unit serves a diverse population, including young adults through geriatric ages.

Outgoing and team-oriented individuals will fit well within the culture of the unit.

The dress code requires navy scrubs.

The unit has received several awards, including the ICARE Award and multiple Daisy Awards.

Candidates will have the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology.

The working hours are structured over a 7-day schedule.
