Position Summary : The Supplier Recovery Manager (SRM) leads and coordinates corrective actions and recovery plans when suppliers fail to meet quality, delivery, cost, or compliance requirements. The SRM's focus is containment, root cause resolution, supplier capability improvement, cost recovery, and restoring reliable supply while minimizing impact to production, customers and safety (especially critical in braking systems). Position will directly report to the Division Supply Chain Manager and will interact with all levels of Division Management. May supervise supplier recovery personnel and outside contract services.

Core Activities / Typical Tasks :

• Triage incoming supplier incidents and assign priority / severity.
• Run cross-functional recovery meetings and create action owners, timelines, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate supplier site visits and audits; perform capability studies (Cpk).
• Draft and negotiate SCARs, service level adjustments and contingency sourcing agreements.
• Prepare executive summaries for senior leadership, including cost and production impact.

Must be willing to travel up to 75%.
