Hospitalist Physician

Job Title : Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Join a reputable healthcare facility in Muskegon, Michigan, as an OB Hospitalist! This opportunity offers the chance to work in a modern facility with a commitment to providing high-quality care. The hospital handles approximately 2,000 deliveries a year and offers a supportive environment, including onsite labs and ultrasound services. You will be working closely with residents and other healthcare providers to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Job Responsibilities :

• Cover 24-hour shifts in-house, starting each shift at 6 : 45 AM.
• Supervise and collaborate with healthcare providers and residents.
• Manage deliveries, averaging 130-160 monthly, with around 5-10 deliveries per 24-hour period.
• Handle nursery and NICU Level 2 cases with in-house Neonatologist consultation for gestational age deliveries.
• Participate in elective inductions of labor.
• Document all patient encounters using the Epic EMR system.
• Adhere to scheduled open dates and ensure compliance with required off periods between shifts.
