Account Executive Opportunity

Extend is building a modern document processing cloud. We're on a mission to transform how the world's most exciting companies work with unstructured data.

We're looking for an exceptional Account Executive to join our founding team and drive enterprise revenue growth as we scale from 7-figures to 8-figures in ARR. The job is simple convert curiosity into closed-won deals, and build long-term relationships that turn customers into advocates.

The market for document processing has expanded 1000x due to LLMs, and all existing solutions are low NPS.

We're punching well above our weight, supporting customer and revenue metrics with half the team size of other startups everyone joining at this stage will have outsized impact.

We've raised our series A, de-risked the business, and our sales team has exceeded quota tremendously every quarter, but there's still tremendous upside ahead; now's the perfect time to join.

Role & Impact

The role is to guide technical prospects through the rapidly evolving OCR / LLM ecosystem, and help them understand if Extend is a good fit for their needs. You'll serve as a trusted advisor for document processing solutions - from initial proof-of-concepts, to mission-critical production deployments.

You'll lead end to end sales cycles from education to implementation - all while navigating multiple teams (e.g. AI, Engineering, Product, Operations), use cases, and decision criteria.

You'll conduct deep technical discovery to understand existing infrastructure, in order to present tradeoffs and prescribe solutions that balance performance, cost, and complexity.

You'll build champions and partner with them to design proof-of-concepts, demonstrate real-world impact, and secure executive buy-in for production rollout.

You'll shepherd prospects through extensive Legal, Security, & Procurement processes - managing sensitive topics from data retention, to deployment strategies, to enterprise pricing models.

You'll guide customers from signed contract to successful deployment - from regular office hours, to configuration recommendations, and workflow best practices, you will remain their go-to Extend advisor.

You'll capture & analyze signal from the field, and collaborate with our founding team to continue refining GTM & product strategies.
