About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (07 : 00 - 17 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 1 year in Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience

License : State license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R

Must-Have :

Experienced in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience.

Local travelers are accepted.

Call required about one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks.

No RTO in the first 2 weeks; maximum 7 days of RTO.

Refusal to float as requested will result in cancellation of contract.

Travelers must complete assigned education within one week of assignment.

Description :

Ideal candidates are experienced in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience.

Travelers will float within the site and across the system.

Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.

Daily census and specific patient diagnoses are not specified.

There are seven rooms utilized for complex cardiac interventions.

Staffing includes dedicated EVS / turnover staff available seven days a week.

Scrub experience is required, and individuals will act as the first assistant to the operator.

The position involves complex cardiac interventions using advanced technology.

Equipment includes systems for optical coherence tomography, intravascular ultrasound, and other devices.

Special procedures may include insertion of devices for cardiac support.

Candidates should have knowledge of maintaining a sterile field and equipment setup.

References are required to substantiate experience and skills.

Background checks must show no felony hits.
