Our Core Beliefs : Be Well, Work Well | Create an Experience | Life-long Learning | Do the Right Thing As the Senior Accountant, you will provide accurate reconciliation of business accounts, this includes bank statements, inventory reconciliations, and auditing quarterly, monthly and yearly accounts – to ensure compliance and clarity. You will perform in-depth financial preparation and analysis of accounts and reporting of financial variances to ensure accuracy. In this role you will : Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports. Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Document financial transactions by entering account information. Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Maintain financial security by following internal controls. Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. Assist with resolutions to accounting issues as they arise and discuss concerns with a solutions-forward approach. Qualifications : 3+ years’ experience in accounting, public accounting would be a plus. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. Experience with financial reporting requirements. Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas. In-depth understanding of GAAP. Strong analytical skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to include V-LOOK-UP’s and Pivot Tables. Experience with ERP conversions - a plus. Manufacturing experience - a plus. Ability to work independently.
