Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant :

Assist patients in performing prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities

Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist

Provide patient education on exercises, safety, and mobility techniques

Document patient care and treatment accurately

Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements :

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Mexico

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant

Current BLS certification

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
