- About the Position :
We are expanding our practice, team, and office! Head Well is seeking an open, enthusiastic, and team-oriented
- Clinical Therapist
- to join our growing clinic in Eugene, Oregon.
As a therapist at Head Well, you will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team dedicated to caring for our patients and community. You will provide psychotherapy in an outpatient setting for a dedicated caseload, and may also facilitate
- ketamine-assisted or integration psychotherapy
- as part of our
- ketamine therapy and Spravato programs
You will collaborate with our medical providers to develop individualized treatment plans and work closely with our administrative team, who will assist with scheduling individual, couple, and family sessions.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses
- Provide individual, couple, and family therapy for patients with co-occurring disorders using evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally competent approaches
- Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, demonstrating strong engagement and group process management
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Participate actively in weekly clinical supervision and staff meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR (within 48 hours of each session)
- Manage crises and high-risk situations using appropriate clinical interventions
- Employ creative therapeutic strategies, including between-session support, community resources, and patient homework
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with
- HIPAA
- regulations
- Adhere to all state, federal, and organizational policies and procedures
- Required Qualifications :
- Masters degree
- in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Active Oregon license required :
- LMFT
- (QMHPs not accepted)
- Minimum
- 1 year of experience
- as a practicing therapist
- Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Experience or strong interest in
- ketamine-assisted therapy, Spravato,
- and other innovative psychiatric treatments
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
