Your Role as an LPN
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide professional nursing care, assessments, and evaluations within your scope of practice. Your contributions will ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care.
What You’ll Do
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders.Conduct assessments and make appropriate interventions, prioritizing resident care.Participate in care planning and ensure consistent implementation of care plans.Maintain professional documentation standards.Communicate effectively to manage resident care and ensure quality service.Guide neighborhood staff in meeting residents' needs.Participate in physician rounds and communicate changes in resident conditions.Assist with discharge planning and education.Perform all other duties as assigned.Essential Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should be able to work the specified hours and perform essential job functions effectively. This includes having adequate visual acuity and the ability to communicate clearly.
Required Education & Experience
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice upon hire.Associate's degree from an accredited school or program.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or program.1-3 years of experience in Long Term Care.Expectations and Standards
