INVENTORY & DISTRIBUTION PLANNER

Inventory & Distribution Planner

We are looking for an Inventory & Distribution Planner for Pilgrim's that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.

Responsibilities :

• Creates distribution strategies for product placement to cold storages based off demand, optimization and rotation practices.
• Manages key-customer and national accounts with a focus on product age and distribution.
• Works closely with sales and other internal departments to collaborate on key-customer accounts to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
• Reviews daily inventory reports so that fulfillment of customer demand is achieved.
• Distributes daily plans to production plants for planning purposes.
• Generates stock transfer transactions to maintain safety stock balances across distribution network.
• Works jointly with internal departments and distribution centers to guarantee the prompt and accurate movement of stock transfers and sales orders.
• Responsible for managing the third party cold storage with the department's highest volume of throughput.
• Generates inventory transactions, which includes receipts, postings, holds, and adjustments that occur between production plants and external cold storage facilities.
• Generates weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting as it relates to inventory control processes.
• Maintains real time inventory accuracy and traceability between SAP and third-party WMS systems.
• Invoices external warehouses for damage claims and cycle count adjustments.
• Other duties as assigned.
