Registered Dietitian - 30% Remote

Join our dynamic team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC , a leading Dietitian Nutritionist Consulting firm providing expert services to healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently looking for a passionate Registered Dietitian to be a part of our growing team for a hybrid position in the area. Enjoy the flexibility of both remote and onsite work, with a schedule tailored to meet your needs.

Facility Type :   Skilled Nursing

Schedule :   8-16 hours per week 30% of hours are completed remotely via telehealth.

Flexibility :  Choose your days and hours. Only 1-2 short onsite visits required per week, remaining hours are completed remotely via telehealth.

Compensation :  $40.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience

Travel Compensation :  Paid at your hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including those related to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Health (DOH).
• Maintain appropriate documentation.
• Monitor all residents for changes in weight weekly and / or monthly to identify potential changes in nutrition or hydration status.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and resident outcomes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice.
