Plastic Surgeon

Job Title : Plastic Surgeon

Location : Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr., VAMC 1030 Jefferson Avenue.

Position Type : Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.)

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery procedures within scope of VA privileges
• Evaluate and manage patients in outpatient clinic and inpatient consult settings
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up care
• Participate in surgical call coverage
• Document all care using VA’s CPRS system within 72 hours of patient encounter
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
• Supervise or coordinate with support personnel, including Physician Assistants
