About the Clinician's Workday
The provider will perform approximately 1416 outpatient procedures per day, primarily colonoscopies and EGDs. Additional procedures include upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery or laser for bleeding, and variceal injection), esophageal dilation and manometry, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy with biopsy or polyp excision.
