Surgery - General Physician Assistant

PA / NP General Surgery in NYAlbany and TroySeeking Surgical PAs to join General Surgery teams with locations in Albany and Troy, NY. The surgical physician assistant will work with surgeons in General , Bariatric, and Urology surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic approaches.POSITION DETAILS : First assisting, admissions, and rounding all on the campus of Hospital in Albany, NY and Hospital in Troy, NY.Hospital Campus- coverage is 2x 12-hour shifts and 2x 8-hour shifts-Rotating 1 in 4 overnight call for OR and weekends.Hospital Campus-1x 16-hour shift followed by on call for OR, admissions, consults and floor calls from home (approx 24 hours shift), and 3x 8-hour shifts.REQUIREMENTS : Applicants should have the following : NYS licensure and DEA required;Graduation from an AMA approved program, Board Certification;Experienced or new grads encouraged to apply!RECRUITMENT PACKAGE Offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes : 15k Bonus (5k Starting, 5k Retention, 5k Relocation if live outside 50 miles of SPHP)Competitive salary including productivity and quality incentives.Excellent benefits; including health / vision / dental insurancesPaid malpractice, including post-SPHP employment tail coverageCME time & expense allowance- $2,500 annuallyPaid time away from the practice- start off with 28 days per yearRetirement savings program with employer matching program.Job Type : Full-timeSalary : $121,537.00 - $139,767.00 per yearBenefits : Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule : 12 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayOn callWork Location : In person
