Operations Manager
Located on the Yarmouth shores, Red Jacket Resorts is a collection of five classic resorts that have been catering to families, couples, groups and weddings alike since 1968. Our team of hospitality experts pride themselves in creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for our guests.
The collection is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join their team and oversee the collection's Blue Rock Resort. The resort is nestled in the heart of South Yarmouth across from a championship, par-3 golf course. The resort features 44 guest rooms, meeting space and an outdoor pool. This role will be responsible for the effective management of all resort functional areas to maximize financial performance while upholding quality standards and maximizing the guest experience.
Essential functions :
- Ensure that guests experience exceeds expectations
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure that operations run smoothly
- Maintain complete knowledge of the hotel's inner workings, including room rates, rooms operations, hotel policies, availability, and profitability strategies
- Conduct revenue management audits for all department budgets, including purchase journals, expenditures, capital requests, labor, and present reports to the general manager
- Conduct staff meetings, with a focus on guest relations
- Coordinate with human resources to interview, hire, and train hotel operations staff
- Ensure that property preventative maintenance is conducted
- Support coworkers and team as needed to ensure efficient operation
- Perform duties, special assignments and projects as requested by management.
