Inventory Supervisor - B Shift

The Inventory Supervisor - B Shift is responsible for restocking PAR carts, STAT orders, and cycle counts on 3rd shift in the Inventory department. Reports to department leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Performs same duties at the team they lead, working alongside their team and leading by example.
• Oversees the delivery of supplies to the hospital and manages the team restocking supply carts.
• Assigns supply rooms to team members for restocking based on available staff.
• Ensures all rooms are restocked and all bins are returned to the warehouse nightly.
• Ensures team members check for empty bins on each unit after unit is restocked and refills empty bins from warehouse stock, if product is available, and that product is issued to the correct department.
• Performs cycle counts at the direction of department leadership.
• Oversees monthly checks for expired items on PAR carts and provides report to Supply Chain Director.
• Coordinates STAT orders.
• Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :

Required Education and Experience :

High school graduate or equivalent required. Minimum of three years of inventory management experience, preferably in medical supply inventory management. Experience working with inventory management software.

Preferred Education and Experience :

Associate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Professional knowledge of areas of responsibility to assist in the planning, coordination, and modification of routes. Basic PC and data entry skills are required. Must demonstrate interpersonal skills necessary to direct work with subordinates, explain department policies and procedures and communicate effectively with other professionals. Must demonstrate team building and problem resolution skills. Must meet the insurability policy requirements to drive a CHKD vehicle. Must be able to pass the CHKD driving test within 30 days of employment.

Working Conditions :

Warehouse and / or exterior environment. Possible exposure to extreme temperatures.
