Position Summary :
We are seeking a full-time, highly skilled, and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals of all ages overcome speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, the SLP will assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for a diverse range of conditions across both pediatric and adult populations.
Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing function.
Collaborate closely with physicians, educators, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
Educate clients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and techniques to support continued progress.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
Stay informed of current best practices, research, and innovations in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
Uphold all ethical and professional standards established by ASHA and the Alabama state licensing board.
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Alabama.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
Prior experience working with pediatric and adult populations preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
Strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Proficiency in conducting assessments and implementing evidence-based interventions.
