Senior Engineering Manager

As a senior engineering manager, you will own the team vision and execution of software design and development for major components of Oracle's health and AI platform. You will apply your technical and organizational skills to solve delivery, support, and operational optimizations. You will be responsible for continued automation and upkeep of a world-wide cloud service distribution platform as well as building platform and observability solutions for Oracle's new AI driven electronic medical record. The model candidate should have technical depth, architectural know-how, passion for building world-class teams and demonstrated ability to balance work across initiatives. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environments and be excited to learn new things.

About the role :

• The role will be responsible for managing a team of 8+ engineers with a variety of skillsets and experience levels.
• The role will be responsible for coordinating with multiple stakeholders on work and priority to ensure the team has a concise vision and set of goals prepared.
• The role will be responsible for ensuring the team meets key metrics, establishes milestones, and manages and achieves commitments.

Responsibilities :

Our team bridges the gap between the existing EHR and the new AI driven EHR. We maintain a service distribution and management platform for 250+ containerized services used by existing cloud workflows and our new AI driven EHR. We are building a new team to develop, maintain, and guide teams on observability and operations for the new AI driven EHR with an emphasis on automation, AI integration, and rapid problem solving. We pride ourselves on a customer first mentality as a core DevOps team with a hand in various initiatives, projects, and priorities. We strive to build and orchestrate automation, tooling, and centralized solutions to enable our consuming developers to focus on their specific problems instead of the nuances of the platform and repetitive tasks. As a leader on this team, you would be responsible for driving roadmaps and implementations across both of our primary areas of responsibility to bridge the gap between our existing and AI driven EHR.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US : Hiring range in USD from : $107,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
