Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) Psych/LTC

Abilene, TX is hiring LPN/LVNs! This is a Psych/Behavioral Health facility working with patients with intellectual disabilities.

Duties: Passing meds, assessments, charting, LTC

Need: LPN/LVN with minimum 2 years experience in acute or long-term care. Must have no past misdemeanors or past discipline on license

Length of Contract: 26 weeks

Start: 7/7/25

Orientation: Orientation usually takes place on the 1st and 16th of each month. Schedule is M-F 8a-5p for the first 3-4 weeks then placed on set schedule with working three weekends out of the month (40 hours a week)

Shifts: 6a-2p; 2p-10pm, must work three weekends/month

Items Needed for Submission: Resume, two manager references from separate facilities, BLS/CPR from AHA, Nursys.

RESUME: MUST SHOW RECENT SKILLED CARE/LTC EXPERIENCE (NURSING HOME/CORRECTIONS (NO HOME HEALTH OR CLINIC- THEY DON'T LIKE TO SEE HOSPITAL EITHER) They want to see experience passing meds to 20+ patients.

Fingerprints: The facility will send directions for nurse to sign up for fingerprints
