Job Summary : Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Unit Description : This 64 bed unit practices patient and family centered care. Telemetry / Step-down unit. Our unit consists of highly motivated, skilled nurses, nursing assistants, and telemetry technicians working together as a team. PCU cares for a wide variety of critically ill patients who require cardiac drips with need for titration, ventilated patients, and those that require a higher level of supportive care.

Standard Qualifications :

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required
• Current CNA certification preferred
