Salary range is $21.63 / hour to $64.42 / hour with a midpoint of $42.31 / hour. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint however we may go slightly higher based on experience internal equity and market.

This is a term-limited position with an anticipated work assignment of two years.
GENERAL PURPOSE :
Under general direction implements the Divisions maintenance plan in assigned areas of responsibility including perform a variety of building and grounds inspections maintenance and repair functions; participate in planning and coordination of the maintenance plan including supervision oversight and evaluation of contractors; provide expertise in the repair and troubleshooting of temporary security infrastructure installed on Sound Transit properties; provide inspection and assessment of newly acquired properties for safe conditions. Coordinates with Sound Transit contractors on Capital Delivery Projects; respond to and is available to provide supervision and maintenance of emergency repairs; ensure work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures; and perform technical and complex tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Acts as the field liaison for Property Management Division. Coordinate and monitor all vendor maintenance activities with Property Managements Vendor Contract Project Manager.Acts as field contact for vendors other agencies contractors and other ST Employees.Conducts regularly scheduled site visits to properties to monitor the condition and security of the properties.Conduct regular property security and maintenance audits to ensure Best Management Practices are being used.Maintains maintenance histories on all properties by completing regular reports and maintaining photographic files.Performs minor repair work.Responds to property emergencies during normal business hours as needed and after hours as directed.Transfers ST owned properties and Temporary Construction Easements to and from Capital Delivery teams. Education and Experience : Bachelors degree in Business Administration Real Estate Property Management Construction Management Civil Engineering or closely related field. F our years of experience directly related to the knowledge and skills needed to successfully accomplish the essential functions required for this position; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Licenses and Certifications :
Valid state drivers license. This position will be responsible for transporting tools and materials for site maintenance.Required Knowledge and Skills :
