Responsibilities Hospital setting on a Medical / Surgical Telemetry unit 3x12 hour shifts with rotating day / night schedule; shifts may be variable based on operational needs Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry cases Use of telemetry monitoring equipment ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests required during orientation Must work at least every other holiday as scheduled Orientation includes ECG and safeMedicate testing with two attempts to pass Locals are accepted at the same pay rate Permanent or per diem candidates may not return to the facility within one year of previous end date Background and fingerprinting must be completed onsite prior to start Pre-start and annual modules must be completed as assigned PAPRs are not permitted for caregivers with facial hair except with approved medical or religious exemption Requirements Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum 18 months of permanent MS / Tele experience prior to travel assignments, with recent experience required Certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required One reference from a supervisory-level clinician in the specialty is required for consideration All certifications must be active and not pending Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612257.
