Job descriptionQualifications : High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or associate degree in dental assisting preferred X-ray certification or willingness to obtain certification Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Responsibilities : Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures Assist orthodontists during patient consultations and treatments Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the orthodontist Sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care instructions Maintain patient records and documentation accurately Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies Follow all safety and health regulations to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
