What You'll Do
As a Speech Therapist, you'll provide in-home therapy to patients needing assistance with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing. You'll work closely with patients, families, physicians, and a supportive interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on physician orders
Provide skilled speech-language therapy in the home setting
Educate patients and families to support therapy goals and communication strategies
Accurately document visits and progress in the EMR system
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate care
Comply with all agency policies and applicable state / federal regulations
What You'll Need
Active Florida SLP license in good standing
Current CPR certification
Level 2 background screening
Recent negative TB test or chest X-ray
Strong clinical knowledge in speech-language pathology practices
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
1+ year of experience in a multidisciplinary setting preferred
Experience with AlayaCare EMR is a plus
