Candidates selected for this position will be assigned to work in one of the following states based on project needs over a period of 2 to 3 years : Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, or New Mexico.
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt, Hourly

Job Type : Full-Time, Regular
Compensation : $35 - $50 per hour, based on relevant experience; per diem; relocation allowance
This position is expected to work 8-10 hours per day, 6 days per week. This position is a mix of field and office time.

JOB SUMMARY : The Environmental Field Supervisor will lead a field team that provides environmental inspection and monitoring during the construction of utility-scale electrical transmission projects in Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, or New Mexico.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 5 years’ experience in transmission line construction environmental monitoringCurrent stormwater inspection certification consistent with Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and / or New Mexico Department of Environmental Quality requirements or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of employmentExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong writing skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite products utilizing the latest operating systemClear communicator, highly organized, motivated, thorough, accurate, and dependableAbility to work long hours in potentially extreme weather conditionsAbility to operate four-wheel drive vehicles on rough terrainCompetence using global positioning system units, maps, iPads, and submeter accuracy devicesField experience and comfortability working on construction projects and around heavy equipmentExperience in leadership and supervisory roleAbility and willingness to relocate to the project locationAbility to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendorsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
