Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Outpatient Multi - Specialty Group, Connecticut

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Psychiatry/Mental Health-NP - Hospital based multi-specialty group practice is seeking a full-time adult psychiatry APRN|nurse practitioner to join our collaborative team of healthcare professionals.

Group is a community health system comprised of more than 300 active medical staff members with two acute-care hospitals, a skilled|subacute facility, home care agency, a comprehensive cancer center and multiple outpatient services centers. It has a prominent family medicine residency program, the latest in robotic surgical systems including the new Mako robotic assisted knee|hip replacement system and the Xi daVinci robot along with highly regarded programs including a Center for Weight Loss and a Women's Wellness Center.

The PMHNP conducts psychiatric evaluation and formulates accurate diagnoses. Manages prescribed medication, performs mental status examinations, obtains medical history, develops and presents treatment plans, provides therapeutic interventions appropriate to specific problems and provides coordinated patient treatment by communicating the care plan and all pertinent information to other members of the health care team.
