We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Pool Greeter Part Time to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team! We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals with food and beverage experience to join our team. As a Pool Greeter you will be the first point of contact for our pool guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their experience starts off on a positive note. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Reporting to the outlet Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will support and provide excellent service at our resort pools, located throughout three levels of our iconic resort. This high-volume requires a passion for personalized service and guest engagement. The new hot spot in Fort Lauderdale will offer luxury products and service, in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
• Ensure all guests are assisted by a Pool Attendant to provide a flawless welcome experience.
• Escort guests to their cabanas and provide menus.
• Assist in seating Members and guests according to seating chart or guest preferences.
• Manage waitlist during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates.
• Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess/host station and dining area.
• Manage guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
• Effectively communicate with peers, management, line, and front-of-the-house employees
• Practice effective listening: (seek to understand)
• Perform related duties as required.
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property.
• Adhere to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Resort policy.
• Be courteous to all guests and coworkers.
• Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in the Employee Handbook
• Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes at their respective outlet.

• Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.

Experience, Education, & Licensure

• High School Diploma or GED recommended.
• Some College experience or Degree recommended.
• Previous Host experience in a professional setting is preferred.
