• Traveler experience is not required.
• Acceptance of local candidates with a rate difference.
• Skills in Med / Surg, Heparin, and Insulin administration.

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed.

Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancellation.

Staffing ratios are typically 1 : 6-7.

Nights only, 36 hours per week, with a maximum of 7 days of RTO.

Some weekends and holiday work are required.

Contract staff may be assigned to work during catastrophic events or disasters.

Candidates may float to similar units at least once a week.

Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.

Daily census averages around 41 patients with a total of 41 beds.

Special procedures include administering Heparin and Insulin drips.

Experience with the medication, documentation, and communication systems is necessary.

Charting system experience is preferred, particularly with Epic.

References from previous supervisors are highly preferred.

Candidates must pass an EKG test for this specialty.

Fatigue policy in place : cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours in a week.

Completion of required training modules prior to starting.
