The Opportunity

The Opportunity : Mattel is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Graphics Designer to join its Hot Wheels Die-Cast design team. The group is focused on creating new product opportunities for the Vehicles division; by understanding the consumer, trends and innovation that are then translated into successful product. This involves creating and communicating new graphics on die cast vehicles to design and marketing management. The ideal candidate will possess proven graphic design experience showing ability to work on challenging and fun products as well as ideating new concepts.

What Your Impact Will Be

• Actively generate new opportunities to enhance the brand.
• Execute on both Product Designs and Graphic Designs.
• Design and develops graphics on die-cast vehicles and / or advertised lines or segments.
• Builds consensus between members throughout the design process.
• Partner with Development Design, Engineering, Packaging and Cost Engineering to ensure product integrity and marketing objectives.
• Daily communication with Asia partners.
• Successfully present and communicate their concepts to the design and marketing management and creative departments.
• Manage the early phases of design and development with other disciplines within the company.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For :

The annual base salary range for this position is between $52,400.00 - $92,000.00. This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
