Summary : The primary purpose of the Certified Nursing Assistant is to assist the nursing staff and medical providers by rooming patients, taking vital signs, verifying allergies, verifying medications, documenting in the Electronic Medical Record and other duties as needed in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Cozad Community Health System.

Supervisory Responsibilities : No supervisory responsibilities.
Education and / or Experience : High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant Course. Medical terminology preferred. Working knowledge of Business Office practices. Computer experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Licensure / Certification : Current Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Nebraska
Medication Aide Certification
Basic Life Support (CPR)

Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a medical clinic setting. The noise level in the clinic environment is usually moderate.
