Schedule

Day shift, Two 8-hour shifts per week (08 : 00 - 16 : 00), with a requirement to work every other Saturday and Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Echo Sonographer with experience in performing echocardiograms on patients ranging from neonates to adults. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various echocardiographic procedures and working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform adult echocardiograms including routine and specialized procedures such as TEE and stress echocardiograms.
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques including 3-D echo and pharmacologic stress echo.
  • Conduct bubble studies and imaging with contrast agents when required.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations in various settings including ICU and emergency departments.
  • Collate and interpret data effectively to aid in diagnosis.
  • Adhere to isolation precautions and obtain 12 lead EKG / ECG as necessary.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Required : Community hospital experience.
  • Preferred : Trauma Level I experience.
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CCI RCS, RDCS (ARDMS or CCI accepted).
  • Skills : Experience with adult echo, M-Mode, portable studies, and TEE preferred.
