Salary : $100,000 - $125,000 per year

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Plant Controller to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role will play a pivotal part in providing financial leadership and will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry and will be a key player in the financial decision-making process that aligns with our strategic goals.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all financial operations of the plant, including the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the company's policies on finance, accounting, budgeting, insurance, financial / accounting systems, internal controls, and auditing.

2. Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.

3. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.

4. Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the external auditors as necessary.

5. Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, tax planning, real estate, and conservation of assets.

6. Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.

7. Oversee the production of weekly and monthly reports, year-to-year financial comparisons, and detailed revenue forecasting.

8. Work closely with operational teams to identify business and process improvement opportunities.

9. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.

10. Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA, CPA, or CMA is highly preferred.

2. Minimum of 5-9 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

3. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP and IFRS.

4. Proficient in financial forecasting, financial modeling, and financial analysis.

5. Experience in the food and beverage industry is highly desirable.

6. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.

7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

8. Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial planning software.

9. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

11. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
