Follows required operations / housekeeping schedules and procedures.
Assists in maintaining stored grain quality and maintains running knowledge of grain quality available in storage at all times.
Performs other duties as required.
Performs all duties associated with truck scale when needed.
Performs other duties including, but not limited to equipment maintenance, lab clean up, grounds care, weeding, and other projects as assigned by facility manager.
Recognizes and determines grain grade factors. Works with facility manager to reduce quality discounts associated with grade factors.
Demonstrates understanding of facility grain flow and equipment operation and is able to quickly route grain to proper equipment and locations.
Timely communicates maintenance needs / modifications of facility equipment to facility manager.
Proficient in heavy equipment operation and preventive maintenance
Performs various repair, maintenance
Qualifications :
Valid driver’s license
Mechanical ability preferred
Highly detail oriented
1 to 2 years of experience as a Grain Facility Operator preferred
High School diploma or equivalency
Work involves but is not limited to occasional lifting up to 70 pounds, bending, carrying, walking, twisting, holding, squeezing, kneeling, sitting, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working at heights, repetitively throughout work period.
