Job descriptionWork directly with clients in their homes, implementing individualized treatment programs designed to improve communication, social skills, daily living activities, and behavior reduction plans as developed by BCBAs. Collect and record data during sessions to allow BCBAs to track client progress effectively and address any areas of concern. Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and their families, adapting to different situations based on each client’s unique needs. Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, families, and team members while maintaining a professional presence, and communicate with empathy, kindness, and clarity. Demonstrate a deep care and passion for each child’s journey, believing in their potential and actively supporting them to reach their goals. Be open to ongoing learning and training, committed to providing the highest quality of care to those you serve. Prior experience working with children, especially children with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is preferred. Experience in teaching or providing patient care within a special education framework is beneficial. Strong understanding of data collection methods related to behavioral health interventions is ideal. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping others, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment for individuals with diverse needs.
