Title : Pharmacy Tech – Inpatient

Location : Berlin, VT 05602

Duration : 16 weeks

Shift : Day, 5x8 (06 : 30–13 : 30) Mid, 5x8 (13 : 30–21 : 00)

Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements – General

  • Support inpatient pharmacy operations, including medication preparation and distribution.
  • Assist pharmacists with sterile compounding, medication reconciliation, order verification, and related tasks as permitted for a pharmacy technician.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensure proper handling of medications, and follow safety / sterile procedures.
  • Provide support in managing medication inventory and unit dose packaging.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in a hospital environment.
  • Must meet facility requirements including sterile compounding competency tests (e.g., fingertip and broth tests).
  • Must meet math competency expectations related to medication calculations.
  • Reliable transportation required due to lack of public transit and winter weather conditions.
